Our Story
Hi, I’m Kim, founder of Cowgirl Home & Ranch.
Having spent most of my life on a small mountain ranch in Colorado with my husband, raising our two—now adult—children and a revolving cast of horses, dogs, cats, and chickens, I wanted to create a way to share my love for this way of living with others. The days start with coffee on the porch, looking out over wide‑open spaces and long views that never get old. Out there, the land becomes a place to play and roam, to breathe, and to enjoy the kind of privacy that makes the world feel a little quieter and more your own. It’s also where you learn to appreciate hard work—mending fences, caring for animals, and doing the unglamorous things that keep a ranch running and a dream alive.
Before I started Cowgirl Home & Ranch, I built Cowgirl Biz—a directory and resource hub for western brands and boutiques. It gave me a front‑row seat to so many women building businesses around the lifestyle they love, and it showed me how many people feel deeply connected to the West, whether they live on acreage or in the middle of town.
In the fall of 2025, I created Cowgirl Home & Ranch to gather all of that heart in one place: a space where you can see Dream Ranch Living, feel it in your own home through art, and start imagining what it could look like in your life.
