Nashville started it. Then you started asking a question we’ve heard again and again since: can you put my words on one?
So we did. Every custom marquee sign we make is a faux marquee on canvas — the look of a vintage sign, weathered and worn, with no bulbs, no wiring and none of the heavy metal. So many of you have put your family names on these, and we love that. Plenty of you have picked some pretty fun words, too. Here are a few of our favorites, and the stories behind them.
Long Live Cowboys
Our very first custom marquee, made for a Texas family who had come through a hard season. Three words that say it all: the cowboy way doesn’t quit, and neither do they.
Cowgirl Dreams
One of our all-time favorites. For every girl who grew up in boots with big plans, and every woman still chasing them. It’s the phrase at the heart of so much of what we make.
YEE HAW
Some homes just need a greeting that’s pure joy. This one is a front-door grin in marquee letters.
Honky Tonk
A home bar deserves a name. This one brings a little Saturday night home, in the spirit of the honky-tonk sign that started our whole marquee line.
Buy Dirt
This one started with a shirt. A realtor we know wore BUY DIRT across the front, and we couldn’t stop grinning. For so many of us, those two words hold the whole dream: the saved photos, the sketched porches, the kitchen you’ve already pictured a hundred times. The dreaming starts long before the deed does, so we made it a marquee you can hang before you own the land.
My Way
